At Bushmead Primary School, we currently follow the Identities, Meanings and Values Agreed Syllabus.

From September 2025, we will follow the new Luton SACRE agreed syllabus.  This syllabus is designed to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their background or starting point, have equal opportunities to develop their understanding of different faiths and world views.  Its diverse purposes range from igniting intellectual curiosity and fostering academic and cultural understanding of various religions and worldwide views, to encouraging personal and spiritual development through self-reflection and exploration of one's own values and beliefs.

By promoting inclusivity and diversity, we will foster an environment where every student's voice is valued and celebrated.  Through exploring themes such as society, humanity, God and faith, science and technology and nature, pupils can develop empathy, respect and a sense of responsibility towards themselves, others and the environment.
