Digital Safeguarding

Autumn Term 2016

Dear Parents/Carers

Thank you to all of you that were able to make the digital safeguarding session on Friday 4th November. It was a fantastic turn out and the messages delivered were key to us helping to keep our children safe in the digital world. We are hoping to be able to offer the session again in the summer term so that those of you that were unable to attend have another opportunity to come along.

Attached is the handout from the session which contains a checklist on ‘keeping your child safe online’.

The school website is also another place where you can access lots of information regarding the internet.

If you have any questions regarding the attached information or feel there is other areas within internet safety that you would like more information about then please feel free to let us know on the following:

Safety Settings for home devices

This is a really good site if you are unsure of what settings to use for your home devices. It has all the normal broadband suppliers and also covers phones and tablets.
